It’s really important to the development of our community that our users have a means of engaging deeply with the content we produce on the podcast. For each topic that we take on, our goal is to map the territory of different viewpoints, then to dig deep into each viewpoint with the goal of giving each of them equal attention. We imagine that this will require multiple sessions for each topic we take on. As we move through the process, we need the feedback of our listeners to help represent each argument fairly.
At this stage, we propose rating each podcast session based on three criteria: clarity, fairness and depth. In addition to these three 5-star ratings, we ask users to submit a review with their own detailed feedback. These reviews can themselves be rated with an up/down helpfulness vote from other users.
